Dr. J.Sengamalaselvi, Asst.Prof.of Mathematics Acted as a Resource person in the workshop on Math with open source software in the St.Mary’s Matriulation school, Mahabalipuram on 25th November 2016. Workshop had been conducted to create the awareness of ICT related aspects among higher secondary students by using the open source Mathematics software Geogebra. In order to improve conceptual understanding ability of students in mathematics and to dominant the traditional approach of teaching and learning in Mathematics and to keep the students interested in Mathematics, It is necessary to implement ICT in school. Twenty eight Higher secondary students were participated in this workshop. Handbook on Geogebra had been provided to the students to get clear idea about Geogebra.
